When do I pay for my project?
Payment is requested after the final project scope has been reviewed and approved. You do not need to pay while you are still building or discussing your project.
Are project prices fixed?
Yes. The standard Website Development base price is $1,790.
When using a W-Forge template, the template and all its existing pages are included in this price.
For an approved client-provided template, W-Forge determines a separate fixed Third-Party Template Development fee after reviewing the template. This fee is displayed in the Project Builder and added to the project total.
Standard Extensions have predefined fixed prices or fixed-price levels where applicable.
Requirements that need individual technical review, including certain Integrations or additional work arising from unforeseen technical issues, receive a fixed price for approval before implementation.
Once the final project scope and price have been agreed upon, additional charges require separate approval of the corresponding changes.
How are additional services or scope changes billed?
If you request work outside the approved scope, W-Forge reviews the change first and provides the applicable fixed price or additional scope for approval before the extra work begins.
How will I receive the payment request?
After the project scope is approved, W-Forge prepares the applicable invoice or payment request and sends you the payment instructions or secure payment link.
Are third-party costs included in W-Forge prices?
No. Third-party software licenses, hosting, domains, external platforms, APIs, payment-provider fees, premium plugins, and similar external costs are separate unless they are explicitly included in the approved project scope.
Do I receive an invoice for my payment?
Yes. W-Forge provides the appropriate billing documentation for payments made for its services.
Can I pay in two installments?
Yes. A two-part payment schedule may be available upon request. If agreed with W-Forge before development begins, the project payment can be split into 50% before development starts and the remaining 50% after final approval of the completed website and before handover.
If the total project price changes during development — for example, because additional Extensions or other agreed work are added — the final payment will be calculated based on the updated total project price, minus the deposit already paid.
