Extensions
What are Extensions?
Extensions are optional additions to the standard Website Development service.
They are used when a project requires pages, functionality, content services, multilingual implementation, booking features, forms, migration work, or other requirements that are not included in the $1,790 base service.
Extensions allow the client to expand the project without changing the structure of the standard Website Development offer.
Are Extensions included in the $1,790 Website Development price?
No.
The $1,790 base price covers the standard Website Development scope.
Extensions are additional services and are added only when the project requires them.
Do I need to purchase Extensions before submitting my project?
No.
You can use the Project Builder to add the Extensions you already know you need.
After submission, W-Forge reviews the project and may clarify whether additional Extensions are required, unnecessary, or should be replaced by another solution.
The final scope is confirmed before development begins.
Can W-Forge recommend which Extensions I need?
Yes.
W-Forge can review the requirement and identify whether it is covered by an existing Extension or requires separate technical review.
Can I add Extensions after submitting my project?
Yes.
The project can be adjusted during the review stage before the final scope is approved.
After development begins, additional Extensions may still be added, but they are treated as additional scope and may affect the price or timeline.
Can I remove an Extension before development begins?
Yes.
Extensions can be removed during project configuration or scope review if they are no longer required.
Once work on an Extension has been approved and started, removing it may not remove the related cost.
Are all Extensions fixed-price services?
Most standard Extensions use predefined fixed pricing or a fixed-price calculator.
Some requirements, especially Integrations, cannot be priced reliably without technical review because implementation complexity depends on the systems involved.
In those cases, W-Forge reviews the requirement first and confirms a fixed price before implementation begins.
Which Extensions are currently available?
The current W-Forge Extension categories include:
The available options and pricing rules are shown on the corresponding Extension pages.
Can I order multiple Extensions in one project?
Yes.
A project can include multiple Extensions where necessary.
Each Extension is added to the project separately so that the scope and pricing remain visible and understandable.
Can the same Extension be added more than once?
Yes, where the Extension supports quantities or multiple units.
Examples include additional languages, multilingual pages, or other quantity-based requirements.
Other Extensions are selected once and represent a complete defined service.
Are Extensions mandatory?
No.
Extensions are used only when the project requires something outside the standard Website Development scope.
A client whose project fits entirely within the selected template and standard base service may not need any Extensions.
What happens if my requirement does not match any Extension?
W-Forge reviews the requirement separately.
Not every possible website feature is offered as a predefined Extension.
If the requirement can be implemented and fits the W-Forge development model, the scope and price are agreed before work begins.
Does adding an Extension automatically mean W-Forge can implement it?
Not in every case.
Some Extensions depend on technical compatibility, third-party software, external services, APIs, hosting conditions, or other project-specific factors.
W-Forge confirms implementation only after the relevant requirements and dependencies have been reviewed.
Are third-party costs included in Extension prices?
No, unless explicitly stated.
Third-party licenses, plugin fees, subscriptions, API charges, payment-provider fees, external platforms, and other third-party costs are separate from W-Forge service pricing.
Where such a dependency is required, it is identified before implementation.
Can an Extension require a paid plugin or service?
Yes.
W-Forge generally prefers solutions that avoid unnecessary paid dependencies, but some project requirements may require paid software or external services.
If this happens, the requirement and recurring cost are disclosed before implementation and the client must approve the dependency.
Do Extensions include unlimited revisions?
No.
Extensions are part of the approved project scope and follow the same revision model as the rest of the project.
Up to three revision rounds apply to completed work within the approved scope.
New requirements are additional work, not revisions.
Can an Extension change the project timeline?
Yes.
The project timeline depends on the complete approved scope.
Adding Extensions can increase implementation time, especially where technical review, third-party configuration, external approvals, or client-provided materials are required.
Are Extensions available for third-party template projects?
Yes, provided the selected third-party template has been accepted by W-Forge and the requested Extension is technically compatible with the project.
Compatibility may need to be reviewed before the Extension is confirmed.
When do I need the New Page Extension?
The New Page Extension is required when your project needs a separate page that does not already exist in the selected template.
If a corresponding page already exists in the template, it can be substantially customized as part of Website Development without automatically becoming a New Page.
What is the difference between modifying an existing page and creating a New Page?
An existing template page can be significantly changed — including its content, branding, imagery, layout, and structure — while remaining part of the standard Website Development scope.
A New Page is an additional standalone page that must be created because no corresponding page exists in the selected template.
How is a New Page priced?
New Pages use predefined fixed-price levels based on the amount of content and structure required.
The current price is calculated on the New Page Extension page, where the client can enter the number of page elements and see the applicable fixed price.
Pages outside the standard pricing range are reviewed separately.
Does the New Page price include additional functionality or content creation?
Not automatically.
The New Page Extension covers creation and implementation of the page itself. Requirements such as advanced forms, booking functionality, integrations, multilingual implementation, website copywriting, or creation of new images are handled through the applicable Extension or separate technical review.
When do I need Multilingual Setup?
Multilingual Setup is required when the website needs to operate in more than one language.
It establishes the multilingual structure of the website and the logic required to connect the different language versions.
Does the standard W-Forge multilingual solution require a paid multilingual plugin?
No.
The standard W-Forge multilingual architecture does not require a paid multilingual plugin or a recurring multilingual software license.
If a project has requirements that cannot be handled by the standard architecture and requires third-party paid software, this is reviewed separately before implementation.
Is translation included in Multilingual Setup?
No.
Multilingual Setup covers the technical implementation of the language structure, not translation of the website content.
The client must provide the approved content for each language unless translation work is separately agreed.
How are additional languages and multilingual pages added?
Multilingual projects are structured using the main Multilingual Setup, together with the applicable Additional Language and Multilingual Page options.
The exact configuration and current pricing are shown on the Multilingual Setup Extension page.
When do I need an Advanced Forms Extension?
An Advanced Forms Extension is required when the project needs form functionality beyond a standard contact form.
Examples include multi-step forms, conditional logic, file uploads, more complex field structures, or other advanced form behavior.
Which form options are available?
W-Forge currently provides separate fixed-price options for Advanced Form, Multi-Step Form, and Conditional Form.
The exact scope and current pricing for each option are shown on the Advanced Forms Extension page.
Are CRM, booking, payments, or other external systems included?
No.
Advanced Forms covers the form itself and the functionality defined for the selected option.
CRM connections, booking systems, payment processing, multilingual functionality, chatbot integration, or other external systems are handled through the relevant Extension or separate technical review where required.
When do I need a Booking Extension?
A Booking Extension is required when the website needs appointment scheduling, availability management, staff or resource scheduling, locations, or payment collection as part of the booking process.
Which Booking options are available?
W-Forge currently provides separate options for:
The exact scope and current pricing for each option are shown on the Booking Extension page.
What is the difference between Booking Integration and Booking Setup?
Booking Integration is intended for an existing booking system that is already configured and only needs to be integrated into the website.
Booking Setup is used when W-Forge must configure a standard booking system for the project.
If an existing plugin or service still requires substantial configuration, it may require Booking Setup or a more advanced option rather than simple integration.
Are booking software licenses and payment-provider fees included?
No.
Booking prices cover W-Forge configuration and integration work.
Third-party plugin licenses, external booking service subscriptions, payment-provider fees, and other recurring software costs are separate unless specifically included in the approved project scope.
When do I need an Integration?
An Integration is required when the website needs to connect with an external service, platform, API, CRM, automation tool, or another business system.
Because integration complexity depends on the systems involved, Integrations are reviewed individually rather than sold as a standard fixed-price Extension.
How is an Integration priced?
W-Forge first reviews the required workflow, systems involved, available APIs or connectors, authentication method, data flow, and technical complexity.
After this review, the agreed scope is confirmed with a fixed project price before implementation begins.
Are third-party services and API costs included?
No.
Third-party software licenses, API charges, automation platforms, external service subscriptions, and other provider fees are separate unless specifically included in the approved project scope.
W-Forge confirms an Integration only after verifying that the required functionality is technically supported by the systems involved.
When do I need Content Migration?
Content Migration is required when W-Forge must take existing content from another website, file set, or source and transfer it into the new website.
It is not required when the client simply provides ready text and images for the existing pages of the selected template as part of normal Website Development.
What content can be migrated?
Standard Content Migration may include existing text, images, links, and basic formatting where applicable.
It can also cover repeatable CMS content such as blog posts, news items, case studies, or similar entries when they are being transferred into the agreed CMS structure.
How is Content Migration priced?
Content Migration uses different pricing logic for individual pages and repeatable CMS items.
The current fixed-price calculation is shown on the Content Migration Extension page.
Large or non-standard migrations are reviewed separately.
What is not included in standard Content Migration?
Standard Content Migration does not include complex database migrations, ecommerce products and orders, user accounts, memberships, advanced SEO migration, redirects, custom data structures, or other non-standard migration work.
W-Forge also does not migrate pornographic or erotic content, sexually explicit material, or content containing graphic depictions of violence, blood, gore, or mutilation.
When do I need Website Copywriting?
Website Copywriting is used when W-Forge is expected to create the text content for the website rather than simply place content supplied by the client.
The service can cover headings, paragraphs, service descriptions, calls to action, FAQs, and other website text required for the agreed page structure.
What information does W-Forge need from the client?
The client provides the factual basis for the content, including information about the business, products or services, target audience, advantages, goals, and any wording or restrictions that must be respected.
Existing materials such as brochures, presentations, current website content, service descriptions, or FAQs can also be used as source material.
Does Website Copywriting include research?
Standard research needed to understand the client’s business context, market, competitors, and terminology may be included where useful.
In-depth market research, audience research, positioning work, interviews, or other strategic research are separate requirements and can be reviewed independently.
Does W-Forge invent business claims or qualifications?
No.
W-Forge does not invent business facts, certifications, guarantees, statistics, qualifications, or customer results.
Business-specific claims must be provided or confirmed by the client before the content is finalized.
Are there content restrictions for Website Copywriting?
Yes. Website Copywriting follows W-Forge's general project and content acceptance policy.
W-Forge does not create pornographic or erotic content, sexually explicit material, graphic depictions of violence, or content that promotes or facilitates fraud, phishing, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or other unlawful activities.
Content involving controlled substances, weapons, pharmaceutical products, and other regulated industries must comply with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and relevant international restrictions.
Legitimate educational, medical, legal, journalistic, and public-interest content is not automatically excluded and may be reviewed individually.
W-Forge reserves the right to decline content requests that do not meet its acceptance policy, as described in General Questions.
When do I need Website Image Creation?
Use this Extension when your project needs original website visuals created specifically for its pages, sections, and content requirements.
What counts as one website image?
One image means one finished visual composition or concept created for your website. Responsive sizes, crops, or format variations of the same approved image do not count as additional images.
How is Website Image Creation priced?
Pricing is based on the number of original images required. Current pricing and available quantities are shown on the Website Image Creation Extension page.
What is not included in Website Image Creation?
W-Forge does not migrate content that violates its project and content acceptance policy, including pornographic or erotic material, graphic violence, fraud, phishing, human trafficking, or the unlawful promotion or distribution of controlled substances, weapons, or regulated pharmaceutical products.
These restrictions apply in accordance with the general project and content policy described in General Questions. Legitimate educational, medical, legal, journalistic, and public-interest materials are not automatically excluded and may be reviewed individually.
