Website Development

What is Website Development?

Website Development is the standard W-Forge service for creating a client website from a selected WordPress + Elementor template.

The template provides the initial structure and design direction. W-Forge then adapts the website to the client’s business, branding, content, and approved project requirements.

How much does Website Development cost?

The standard Website Development base price is $1,790.

For W-Forge templates, this includes the selected template and all its existing pages, which can be substantially customized within the approved project scope.

When using an approved commercial third-party template provided by the client, a separate fixed Third-Party Template Development fee is added to the $1,790 base price.

W-Forge determines this additional fee after reviewing the template. Once preliminarily approved, the fee appears as a separate item in the Project Builder.

Extensions and other separately agreed requirements may increase the total project price.

The final scope and price are confirmed before development begins.

What is included in the $1,790 Website Development price?

The standard Website Development base price is $1,790.

The service includes:

When using a W-Forge template:

The selected template and all its existing pages are included in the $1,790 base price. No separate template purchase is required.

When using an approved client-provided template:

The pages and components included in Website Development are confirmed during project review and scope approval.

A separate fixed Third-Party Template Development fee is added to the $1,790 base price. The client is responsible for purchasing the template and maintaining any required third-party licenses.

New pages, multilingual implementation, advanced forms, booking functionality, integrations, content migration, website copywriting, image creation, and other requirements outside the approved standard scope are handled separately.

Are all existing pages of the selected W-Forge template included?

Yes.

All pages that already exist in the selected W-Forge template are included in the Website Development base price.

The client does not pay separately for each existing template page.

Does the number of existing template pages change the base price?

No.

For W-Forge templates, the base price remains $1,790 regardless of how many existing pages the selected template contains.

The price changes only when the client adds requirements outside the standard base scope.+

Can I use only some of the existing template pages?

Yes.

You do not have to use every page included in the selected template.

Unnecessary pages can be excluded from the final website.

Removing pages does not reduce the standard Website Development base price.

Can existing pages be substantially redesigned?

Yes.

Existing template pages can be significantly adapted within the approved project scope.

This may include:

Removing pages does not reduce the standard Website Development base price.

Does changing an existing page make it a New Page?

Not automatically.

An existing template page can be substantially modified while still remaining an existing page.

A New Page is a page that does not already exist in the selected template and must be created as an additional page for the project.

What happens if I need a completely new page?

A page that does not already exist in the selected template is added through the New Page Extension.

The price is determined by the amount of content and structure required for that page according to the New Page pricing model.

Can the structure of an existing page be changed?

Yes.

Existing pages can be reorganized to better fit the client’s content, business model, and approved requirements.

Sections may be moved, removed, combined, or adapted where technically appropriate.

Can new sections be added to an existing page?

Yes, where the new sections remain part of the adaptation of an existing page and fit the approved project scope.

If the requested work introduces substantial new functionality, systems, integrations, or other requirements beyond normal page customization, additional scope may be required.

Is content placement included?

Yes.

Content supplied by the client for the existing pages of the selected template can be placed as part of the standard Website Development process.

This does not require the Content Migration Extension when the client provides the website-ready content directly for implementation.

When is Content Migration required instead?

Content Migration is used when W-Forge must extract existing content from another website, system, or source and transfer it into the new website.

It is not required simply because the client provides text and images for the website being developed.

Is copywriting included in Website Development?

No.

Website Development includes implementation and placement of client-provided content, but it does not automatically include writing the client’s website copy.

If the client wants W-Forge to create website content, the Website Copywriting Extension can be added.

Is image creation included in Website Development?

Client-provided images can be implemented as part of the website development process.

Creation of new original website visuals is not included in the standard base price.

If new visuals are required, the Website Image Creation Extension can be added.

Is multilingual implementation included?

No.

The standard Website Development service is for the agreed primary website language.

Additional languages are handled through the Multilingual Setup and related multilingual Extensions.

Are advanced forms included?

Standard simple contact functionality may be implemented where appropriate to the selected template and project.

Advanced forms, multi-step forms, conditional logic, uploads, or more complex form behavior are handled through the Advanced Forms Extensions.

Is booking functionality included?

No.

Appointment scheduling and booking functionality are separate requirements and are handled through the Booking Extensions.

Are integrations included?

No.

Connections with external systems, APIs, CRM platforms, automation services, or other third-party tools are not automatically included in the Website Development base price.

Integration requirements are reviewed separately because their technical scope can vary significantly.

Is hosting included?

No.

The client is responsible for maintaining a compatible WordPress hosting environment.

Standard installation and launch of the completed website on the client’s compatible hosting are included in Website Development.

Hosting fees themselves are not included.

Is domain registration included?

No.

Domain registration and domain renewal fees are the client’s responsibility.

W-Forge can work with the client’s existing domain as part of the agreed website launch process where technically appropriate.

Are DNS and email migration included?

Not as part of the standard Website Development service.

Standard website launch is included, but complex DNS changes, email migration, hosting migration, unusual server configuration, or other infrastructure work may require separate review and scope.

Are paid plugins or software licenses included?

No, unless specifically stated in the approved project scope.

If the client project requires Elementor Pro, a paid plugin, an external service, API access, or another recurring software dependency, the client is responsible for the applicable license or subscription unless otherwise agreed.

How many revision rounds are included?

Up to three revision rounds are included for completed work within the approved project scope.

One revision round is one written list of related corrections submitted together.

What counts as a revision?

A revision is a correction or adjustment to work that has already been completed within the approved scope.

Examples may include:

What is not considered a revision?

A request is not considered a revision if it introduces new scope.

Examples include:

These are handled separately.

Can I request changes after development has started?

Yes, but the effect depends on the type of change.

Changes within the approved scope can be handled through the normal project workflow.

New requirements outside the approved scope must be reviewed separately and may affect price, timeline, or implementation.

Can the project scope be expanded after approval?

Yes.

Additional work can be added later if W-Forge confirms that the requirement can be implemented.

The additional scope and price must be agreed before the new work begins.

Does W-Forge start work before the scope is approved?

No.

The project scope must be agreed in writing before implementation begins.

This protects both the client and W-Forge by creating a clear reference for what has been ordered and what will be delivered.

Is the project scope formally approved?

Yes.

After the project requirements have been reviewed and finalized, the client receives the applicable project agreement or scope approval document for electronic signature.

Development begins only after the required approval and payment conditions have been completed.

Is standard website installation included?

Yes.

Standard installation and launch of the completed website on a compatible WordPress hosting environment are included in the Website Development base price.

This does not include complex hosting migration, server administration, email migration, or unusual infrastructure work.

What happens when the website is completed?

When the agreed development work is completed, W-Forge makes the website available for client review in a staging or preview environment.

The client reviews the website and may request corrections within the approved project scope. Up to three revision rounds are included.

Once all agreed corrections have been completed, W-Forge sends a formal Project Acceptance document through a dedicated electronic signature service.

The client confirms acceptance by electronically signing this document.

If any outstanding project balance remains, W-Forge sends the final payment request after acceptance.

Once the full project payment has been received, W-Forge completes the agreed handover, including standard installation and launch on the client's compatible WordPress hosting environment.

What does handover include?

Handover means transferring the completed project to the client after the agreed acceptance and payment requirements have been completed.

The exact handover process depends on the website environment and project setup.

Does W-Forge provide ongoing maintenance after handover?

Ongoing managed maintenance is not included in the standard Website Development service.

After handover, the client is responsible for the ongoing operation of the website, hosting, software licenses, updates, and maintenance unless a separate service has been explicitly agreed.
